Dr. Vanka won NCL RF scientist of the year award for his insightful research focused on employing computational methods such as density functional theory (DFT) and ab initio molecular dynamics (AIMD) to provide mechanistic understanding of important chemical systems, as well as to design new systems of interest in main group and transition metal chemistry.
